Guide
Stake, pre-stake, and backing a pool.
Three different things happen on this site with the same token. This page says exactly what each one does, what it costs, and what you get back. Every figure below is a chain read or a published rule. Nothing is a promise.
01
Pre-stake
Pre-stake is the first phase. You send $PYTHO from your wallet to the published vault address. The transfer is a normal token transfer on Robinhood Chain, visible on Blockscout, and the site counts it toward the published target.
- What you do
- Connect a wallet, type an amount, press Pre-stake. Your wallet signs one transfer to the vault.
- Where it goes
- The vault address printed in the site config,
reading. - Target
- reading $PYTHO. The meter fills from confirmed transfers, net of refunds.
- What you see
- Your wallet on the stakers board with your net amount, updated within seconds of confirmation.
- What it is not
- Not a purchase, not a lock with a fixed term, and not a yield product. It is a deposit into a custodial vault held by the team.
02
Stake
Stake is the same transfer once the pool contract address is published. The site flips from Pre-stake to Stake automatically when the config carries a staking address. Until then the button reads Pre-stake and the deposit still goes to the vault.
- Current phase
- reading
- Rebase share
- . Rebase terms are read from the contract when their selectors are verified, never typed in by hand.
- Records
- Every deposit is a transfer to the vault. The board shows net deposits by wallet, not a rebase-adjusted entitlement.
03
Unstake
Unstake asks the vault to send your net deposit back. You sign a message with your wallet, the server checks your net transfers on chain, and the vault sends the tokens. Withdrawals open only when the fee is published.
- Fee
- unpublished
- How much
- Up to your net deposit: everything you sent minus everything already refunded. Leave the amount empty to request all of it.
- Proof
- The refund is a transfer from the vault to your wallet. The board updates from chain records, not from the server's word.
04
Backing a pool
Forecast pools are separate from staking. Each question has two deposit addresses on chain, one for YES and one for NO. Backing an outcome is a transfer of $PYTHO to that side's address. When the question resolves, the losing side pays the winning side in proportion to each position, minus a 3% pool fee that goes to the vault.
- Who decides
- Polymarket questions settle on Polymarket's own resolution. Team questions settle on a published evidence link.
- Payout
- Your position back, plus your share of the losing side after the fee. The calculator on each card shows the number for the amount you type.
- Late and void
- A deposit after the close is refunded in full. A void question refunds everyone with no fee.
- Not staking
- Pool positions never count toward the pre-stake target and never sit in the vault. They sit in the question's own addresses until settlement.

What can go wrong
- The vault and the pool addresses are custodial. The team holds the keys. If that is not acceptable to you, do not deposit.
- A pool question can be voided if its source disappears. You get your position back, not a payout.
- Payouts need gas on the pool wallets. Settlement can lag while that is arranged.
- Wrong network sends fail. The site switches your wallet to Robinhood Chain before any transfer.
- Nothing here is financial advice. Verify the contract address against this site before sending anything.
